I’m very excited. The two telephone interviews I had last week went well, and the company wants to meet with me for an in-person interview! A different company also contacted me this week to set up an interview. I like having options!

Image by eliazar via FlickrI received a kind letter from American Express today. It was addressed, “Dear Patrick.” How nice.

Revolution Money Exchange is a new peer to peer money exchange program that plans to challenge PayPal by offering free on-line money transfers. That’s right. No more complicated fee structures to decipher (and pay!) when sending or receiving money on-line. I love the convenience of PayPal, but I hate paying the fees!

Sometimes it’s the little things you do that say “I love you.” And sometimes the random acts that say “I love you” mean the most.
My wife is a singer, and a very good one at that. One of her singing activities is performing in a Children’s Traveling Opera. It involves going around to local schools [...] ... ( more)

Have you filed your taxes yet? I just finished my taxes this week. Unfortunately, the news was not good - my wife and I owe $1,100. But we will get $1,200 for the economic stimulus rebate in May, so that will make up for it. (economic stimulus rebate check schedule)

I got my cable bill a couple months ago, and noticed my rates were jacked up over $20 more per month. Needless to say, I was less than pleased. In my opinion, no one should have to pay over $100 per month for basic cable and cable internet!
